Besides the already popular round cut we also have a trillion variety of the BirGem Mirror Cut and maybe the collection of Mirror Cut will broaden in the future.

The standard sizes of the BirGem Mirror Cut are 6, 8, 10 en 12 mm. On request we can cut any desired size.

Our Mirror Cut is available in following well known Quartz varieties:

  • White Quartz
  • Smoky Quartz

We also have blue Topaz in this cut.

Design Cut

At our Gemstone cutter in India we order our design cuts. These cuts are distinguished form the classic cuts by the new technology used when faceting the gemstones. In many designs concave facets are applied to the bottom of the gemstone. The brilliancy that is created is often surprising. Please look at the photo summery for examples.

The Design Cuts are available in the well known Quartz varieties as well as blue Topaz. On request other gemstone varieties can be cut.

Briolettes and drops

Brioletten and drops are usually used as earrings or pendants. They are usually top-drilled and are glued as attachment to the jewellery. Briolettes are faceted and drops are smooth.

BirGem has standard pear shaped briolettes in stock in commonly used gemstones such as amethyst, smoky quartz and blue topaz.

Apart from this we have a large changing collection of briolettes and drops in a large variety of gemstones. Besides quartz we also have phrenite, kyanite and labradorite. Also we have a lot of other shapes and a number of different sizes available.
